This is just great Tricia!
I think its wonderful to have a collection inside an airport! People would definitely take the time to learn while waiting in an airport- what a great use of time!
It was really nice that you gave examples of such library-museum partnerships. This is very interesting topic. I really like archives and such a combination of library materials with museum artifacts sounds fascinating.
I cannot think of a better way to combine sources that increase the knowledge of subject areas. I really think that the library field is moving more in the direction of collaborating and working together on projects and that digitizing is becoming more prominent. Web 2.0 has a lot of concepts that seems to be spreading beyond the internet. It was nice to see that there is an online collaboration between institutions as well though!
Good work!
